Early Career Mentoring and Supervision

Katie is the Director of Life Balance Clinical Psychology, a board approved supervisor, and has experience across various settings including group private practice, private hospital inpatient and outpatient services, community healthcare, public education, and solo private practice.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours), Master of Psychology (Clinical) and Master of Business (Human Resource Management). Katie offers early career mentoring and clinical supervision services.

Early Career Mentoring

Katie has a special interest in career development and supporting early career clinicians (psychologists and allied health professionals) navigating the transition to private practice.

Areas of support for early career mentoring may include:

Supervision

Katie is a board-approved supervisor offering supervision to provisional psychologists, registrars, and early-career clinicians. Her supervision style is supportive, collaborative, and focused on on fostering professional confidence and clinical competence. Katie provides a safe space to reflect on your practice, self-care, ethical dilemmas, and any other areas of concern.

Areas of support for supervision may include:

  • Self-care, boundaries and burnout management

  • Case review, formulation and treatment planning

  • Professional and ethical guidance

  • Competency development

  • Support for training pathways

  • Reflective practice

Fees

Fees for Early Career Mentoring and Supervision: $230 + GST per hour.

Katie offers services online (via zoom) and in person (New Farm Brisbane, QLD)
