Meet Your Psychologist
Katie Schultz, Clinical Psychologist
If anxiety, uncertainty or life changes have been weighing you down, you’re not alone, and reaching out is a meaningful first step.
I’m Katie, a Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Life Balance Clinical Psychology. I provide evidence-based therapy for individuals aged 16 and over who are experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and challenges associated with life transitions.
I work with people who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward, even when things appear “fine” on the outside. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Based in New Farm, Brisbane, I offer both in-person sessions and telehealth appointments Australia-wide.
My mission is for you to feel heard and supported every session.

How I Work
I aim to create a supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I take the time to understand what’s been difficult for you and what meaningful change looks like in your life.
My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological approaches, with a focus on both practical skills and deeper understanding. We work together to build balance, insight, and strategies that support lasting change.
You don’t need a formal diagnosis or a clear plan to begin, we can explore what’s happening together.
